Hway Ka Loke School

The number of students at Hway Ka Loke School has drastically increased of the past three years since the latest coup in Burma on 1st of February, 2021. Four old classrooms with a size of just 15m2 each had to be demolished due to major crack in structural beams and columns. Within a period of six weeks, we completed the construction of four new classrooms with a size of 32m2 each. Additionally all four classrooms are connected with covered corridor which creates additional hang-out space for the students.

During the construction we were supported by students from Hongkong University, Harrow International School Bangkok and St. Andrews International School Bangkok who were keen to join our earth brick making workshops for 2-3 days at a â€‹time.
