Ah Yone Oo School 2.0 - Classrooms
After three years we returned to Ah Yone Oo school where we conducted a couple of workshops in 2023 asfter a three hiatus due to the corona virus. This project was the trird of its kind in colaboration with Stiftung Deutscher Architekten and socialarchitecture e.V.. Twelve participants had the opportunity to get hands-on experience, working on the Thai-Burma border with local migrant and refugee communities. Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to change the construction site last minute and had to adjust the design according to the new conditions and requirements.
Within a period of six weeks, we completed the construction of two new classrooms and a new school hall. Harrow International School joined us on site again for the 6th time to conduct an earth material workshops in close coorporation with the local community.
